Carne Asada Marinade

An old favorite from the Deer Park Farms’ blog.  Enjoy!

 

Carne Asada

Ingredients

  • 1-2 lbs. flank steak (sliced for Carne Asada)
  • 1/3 c. white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp. ground white pepper
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. paprika

Instructions

  1. Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl and whisk until well combined.

  2. Place steak in bowl or resealable plastic bag, and coat with marinade. Place in refrigerator, and marinate for 8 hours.

Notes

If you decide to freeze the raw meat in the marinade, cut the soy sauce to 1/4 - 1/3 cup.
